Child Care Experience
From September 2021 to February 2022 I took care of Ashly (5) and Josly (10). I bathed them, helped with homework and prepared snacks. From March 2020 to June 2021 I babysat Dayne (1). I bathed him, gave food, changed the diaper and played with him.

I want to be part of the program because I think it is a good opportunity to get to know a new culture, study, and work in something that I really like. I want to participate because I like the idea to be an Au pair, studying in the United States, and sharing with a host family. That would help me to grow as a person. I want to teach the child new things. Furthermore, I want to have the opportunity to be part of a beautiful experience that this program will be with the host family I will have, having excellent results through order, organization, and more important communication. From May 2021 to October 2021 I took care of my neighbor's daughter Luisanny (2). During these 6 months, I took care of her 10 hours per day, 5 times per week. I bathed and fed the baby, took her to the park or to the ice cream shop. I also put her to sleep and sometimes I did her laundry. From July 2020 to October 2020 I babysat Mairelys (3). For 4 months I was her full-time babysitter and bathed and fed her, played with her and took her for a walk.

I love to be with children and I think this a good opportunity to be with them, to take care of children who speak another language it will be a wonderful experience and can help me a lot in the development of language, I chose the USA for my au pair experience because I really the culture of the USA and the environment there. I want to be an au pair, because it is a good opportunity to get to know the American culture, improve my English, the idea of living outside the country, knowing another environment, other customs is great, apart from the fact that my life would change, I would get out of the routine to do something totally different. I think the most important reason to become an au pair is the children. I have always been surrounded by children, I really get along very well with them. I want to become an Au Pair because of two reason: first, I love children and I enjoy sharing my life and knowledge with them; second, I always had the dream of traveling abroad and to know other cultures while I'm sharing mine. I think being an Au Pair give me the opportunity to do both. Why USA: I love American Culture so, that's why I want to explore it deeper and closer.
